Your transaction, protected step by step.
Secuora is not a marketplace. Start a transaction wherever you found each other and use Secuora as the neutral transaction-protection layer.
- Step 01
Create the transaction
The buyer or seller creates a Secuora transaction and enters the agreed item or service, price, buyer, seller, transaction conditions, verification requirements and shipping requirements where applicable.
Turn an agreement into a structured transaction. Both parties can see exactly what has been agreed before money moves.
- Step 02
Buyer funds the transaction
The buyer pays using an available payment method. Funds are protected according to the transaction's agreed conditions rather than immediately released to the seller.
Secuora does not represent itself as independently holding escrow funds where a third-party escrow provider is responsible for holding them.
- Step 03
Transaction is funded
Once payment has been successfully received and confirmed, the transaction moves into its protected execution stage and the seller can proceed according to the agreed conditions.
FUNDS RECEIVED
- Step 04
Seller provides the item
The seller provides the item according to the transaction agreement, and may be required to provide item information, serial numbers, photographs, proof of ownership, receipts, condition information or other transaction evidence.
Sellers provide the agreed item and supporting evidence so the transaction can be properly documented.
- Step 05
Verification & evidence
Secuora creates a transaction record containing relevant evidence supplied by the parties — serial numbers, photographs, videos, documents and transaction communications.
!Verification tools do not automatically guarantee authenticity, ownership or condition. They provide structured evidence that can be used during the transaction and dispute process. - Step 06
Delivery / handover
Where delivery is required, the item is shipped or handed over using the agreed delivery method and delivery status can be associated with the transaction.
Where no shipping is required, the parties can complete the agreed handover process without requiring courier delivery.
- Step 07
Buyer inspection
The buyer receives the item and has the applicable inspection period to determine whether it matches the transaction agreement. They can accept or raise a dispute.
Buyers should inspect the item promptly and compare it with the information and conditions agreed in the transaction.
- Step 08
Transaction completion
If the buyer accepts, the transaction is completed and the applicable protected funds are released according to the transaction and escrow provider's rules.
TRANSACTION COMPLETED
- Step 09
Dispute
If there is a material problem, the buyer can raise a dispute within the applicable transaction period. Relevant evidence can then be reviewed according to the dispute process.
Evidence may include original listing/item information, seller and buyer evidence, serial numbers, photographs, videos, messages, delivery records and payment records.
